offer links to the Department of Corrections websites that the inmate has been
incarcerated under their State or Federal system.
- I have tried to list a few items that I have found that shows if some of
the info might be correct or not, but I encourage any pen pal to also do some
research to truly find out who you might be dealing with. I know that
most of these people trying to make right on what they did. Some are
just passing time and building their mental health by writing these letters.
But a few want to write to you because of the money you might have. Just
be careful.
- Another recommendation, I would suggest getting yourself a PO Box,
especially if you do not want to give out your home address. That way
you don't have to worry about anything.
