(voorlopig...de prijzen z�llen stijgen nu dat de Sucre vervangen wordt door de dollar) Beautiful little country which makes it very easy to travel in it; at this moment it is also the cheapest country in Latin-America!(But it is gonna change as the Sucre will be replaced with the USD). LONELY PLANET In LATACUNGA kun je een busrit nemen naar ZUMBAGUA, waar je de vulkaan QUILOTOA kunt bewonderen. Probeer om een groep te vormen naar die vulkaan want ze vragen 1 prijs voor de jeep; het maakt niet uit met hoeveel mensen je bent. Zowel de busrit naar Zumbagua als de vulkaan bieden prachtige landschappen. Het dorpje is ook een ervaring maar het kan er echt koud zijn 's nachts! In LATACUNGA you can make a beautiful bustrip to ZUMBAGUA, where you can visit the QUILOTOA volcano. Try to form a group if you go to that volcano as the price for the jeep is the same, no matter how many people there are(can be expensive when you are alone.). Zumbagua itself is also a beautiful little pueblo but it can be very cold there at night!! QUITO (18/06/2000-22/07/2000) E�n van de mooiste hoofdsteden! Het bestaat uit een oude en nieuwe gedeelte. Om te verblijven is de goedkoopste locatie in de Oude Stad, maar als je uit wilt gaan ben je beter om in de Nieuwe Stad te verblijven. Overdag is er een zeer goede trolleyverbinding naar de 2 delen. One of the most beautiful capitals in my opinion! You have an old and a new part. To stay it is cheaper in the old part but to go out you better stay in the new one(which you can affort if you can go out). In the daytime it is no problem as you have a very good connection with the trolley to both parts. At night you only have taxis. ACCOMODATIE : ACCOMODATION : EL JARDIN DE BELGICA Rodriguez ?? | Via Quito kun je plaatsjes bezoeken die niet ver zijn, zonder uw rugzak. Zoals BA�OS en OTAVALO(voor souveniers moet je hier zijn!) From Quito you can visit other towns as it is all very closeby; you can store your bagback in the hotel. Two exemples are BA�OS and OTAVALO(where you have to be for souvenirs!) VILCABAMBA Prachtig dorpje in het zuiden van Ecuador waar je naartoe kunt via Loja. Je hebt er een paar rustoorden voor de budgetreiziger waar je 8USD betaalt met alles inbegrepen : ontbijt + avondeten(zeer mjammie!), zwembad, sauna, internet, hangmatten... Ze delen pamfletten uit aan de busterminal in Loja : Las Ruinas de Quinara. Beautiful village in the South of Ecuador where you can go from Loja. You have some places for the budgettraveller where you can stay for 8USD and everything is included : breakfast + dinner(and very good!), swimming-pool, sauna, hammocks... They give you pamflets at the terminal of Loja : Las Ruinas de Quinara. LOJA De stad zelf is niet veel maar van hieruit heb je de beste overgang naar Peru. The city itself is not worth a stay but from here you have the perfect connection to Peru. summary |
