YOU'VE MADE A DIFFERENCE IN MY LIFE

If we strive to share
a bit of kindness every day,
and care for those who suffer
pain and strife.

If we listen patiently
and try to understand,
we can make a difference in this life.

If we share our laughter
and our smiles with everyone,
and help each other feel a sense of worth,
God will bless our lives,
and though we pass this way but once,
we can make a difference here on earth.

TWO HEART EMBRACE

Have you ever felt the awesome power,
that love between two hearts can bring?
It can give to you the greatest strength
to help when you're dealing with anything.

If you let all of that love work inside you;
holding it so very close within your heart.
Love will keep you strong as it embraces
and in difficulties, help you not fall apart.

It warms your heart knowing you're loved,
and another wants to ease all your pain.
You can feel secure in never being alone,
at times when life can bring tears like rain.

Love allows you that freedom to be yourself,
without having the disabling fear of rejection.
Because when someone truely does love you,
they accept you, without wanting perfection.

Love means sharings feelings in your hearts,
trusting each other with your words spoken.
In knowing that the percious bonds of love,
will keep the truse shared from being broken.

Having your heart held by each other's love,
makes the challenges of life easier to face.
If you allow your heart to feel all of that love,
you'll know the power of a two heart embrace.

TAKING TIME TO SAY HOW I FEEL

Sometimes we can run out of time,
For all the things we want to say and do.
Therefore, I am taking this time right now,
To tell you that, I do love and care for you.

Perhaps I haven't said those words before,
And so maybe you have never really known.
But I hope that through our close friendship,
In other ways, my love has been shown.

I want you to know you're important to me,
And I am so glad you are a friend of mine.
I need to tell you, so you know how I feel,
Instead of waiting, and not having the time.

You have brought me a lot of happiness,
And given to my heart so many smiles.
I treasure the friendship we have found,
Crossing the bridge, of the distant miles.

I want to thank you for wonderful friendship.
And taking me into your hearts, and caring.
You have touched my life in a special way;
A true blessing, is the friendship we're sharing.

DAYDREAMS OF YOU

I sit gazing at your picture,
and my heart begins to melt.
So much emotion fills me,
with the love deep inside that is felt

My mind starts to wander,
and I sit daydreaming of you
Longing to have you by my side,
to fill my dreams, I wish to come true.

So captivated is my heart,
I become "lose" in every thought.
Overwhelmed by the beauty of our love,
and all the happiness you have brought.

If only all my daydreams were real,
I would never ask for anything more.
As I would have everything I want,
a feeling I have never felt before.

For now I'm content with my daydreams,
until I can be with you.
And turn all my dreams into realities,
as we share precious dreams that come true.

BEING APART

I Think about you being so very far away,
and my heart feels as though it will break.
The deep love I have swells up inside me,
and being apart becomes too much to take.

I long to reach out and hold you so close,
and feel your loving arms also around me.
But my outstretched arms can clasp only air,
and I feel cheated from you by the dividing sea.

It's so very hard being this far apart from you;
not even to see the beauty of you smile.
If love was all that I needed to swim to you,
I'd have more than enough love, for every mile.

My heart aches from wanting to be with you,
and to share this beautiful love we both feel.
I hold on to knowing our day will soon come,
and all of our dreams made, will become real.
