The PT. Sqiva Sistem (Sqiva), a subsidiary of PT. Sigma Cipta Caraka (Sigma), started as a unit developing web based software in 1997. As the unit moves to focus on ASP (Application Service Provider) based software, it is spun of as a separate company, called Sqiva. Sqiva officially started operation in 2004 by providing Reservation System for Airlines.
The beginning of Sqiva is a unit needed to develop billing system, as PT. Signet Pratama (Signet) started to provide Internet Access Service in 1997, and then VoIP Service in 1998. Then in year 2000, the billing system is used at PT. Indo Internet (Indonet) to handle the Y2K issues. The single Prepaid and Postpaid Billing software, called Solo, is now used in 35 branches and 8 outlets all over Indonesia. The same web based system is also used by Indonet�s customers to check their billing and usage. This helps Indonet increase its efficiency hence its financial performance, which eventually enable Indonet to acquire MWeb ISP and Data Center assets.
As the development unit move to focus on ASP (Application Service Provider) based software, the unit is spun of as a separate company. The company officially started operation in 2004 by providing Reservation System for airlines, accounting, and various office productivity soft-wares.

SQIVA win APICTA 2005 Award
The Committee of APICTA-Indonesia 2005, has announced AWAN as the Winning Application in Industrial Application Category of APICTA 2005.
Participants of the Awards Program comprise members of the APICTA Network.
Its 14 member-economies include: Australia, Brunei, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.
By winning APICTA Indonesia 2005, PT Realta Chakradarma and GRAMS will represent Indonesia to compete in the APICTA International 2005. more
