Personality: Extremely arrogant, stemming from the fact that her family is connected through blood ties to the Royal line, and that her father and brothers and herself have been in charge of the underground from the start.

History:

Aubrey was born into a noble family that is very closely connected to the royal family, though no member of the branch has ever been able to pass the test in order to be considered as a candidate for the emperor. However they have always enjoyed all the luxuries they could ever want, and for a long period of time lived in almost complete isolation from most others not of Royal blood, living and governing the planet Auroa.

When Aubrey was 8 she meet the sons of the emperor. It was that same day that Aaron made his grab for the thrown and his brother left with the Egites. She was hiding in the study in which Aaron told his brother that he had one chance to make a run for it, and she choose to keep her mouth shut about it to anyone, but at that time she didn’t really understand what it was she had heard.

She figured out later what it was she had heard, but she still kept it to herself. She knows that even if she had told anyone it couldn’t have possibly done any good, but she still feels a pang of guilt every time she thinks about it. She went on for the next 10 years, unaware that anything in her family had changed, expect that her father and brothers started going on many trips.

When Aubrey was 18, her father died when a cargo ship he was on crashed. When she demanded to know why they were covering up which crash he had died in, her brothers finally told her the truth. Their father had been in charge of the underground, and because of it he had died. She was in shock at first, but after a few weeks it started so sink in. No one was more surprised that her brother when she asked to join.

She took her brother Jarod’s place, as he took the place of their brother Derek, who took the place of their father. Derek had many successful missions, already being talked about of possibly being a greater leader than his father, when he was shot by a mugger on the way home and died before he could receive medical care.

Aubrey and Jarod carried on, but after five years Jarod quit. He just couldn’t deal with all anymore, and Aubrey took his place as the new leader. She went about things with an almost mechanical efficiency, even managing to make all the royal affairs she was invited to, and no one suspected anything odd about her, expect that she liked to travel. Most just believed it was because of a ‘fear of dying before seeing the universe’ rumor her brother had started.

She has never had any kind of real romantic relationship, and has never even tried to make friends beyond those she works with closely. She’s extremely distrustful of everyone outside of her small circle, including others in the underground. She’s never told anyone outside the small circle her real last name, and often dresses to hide her appearance when she has to meet with those in the underground she’s familiar with.
