Whenever Theias could, he would ask his father to tell him mystical stories of dragons and warriors. This would be the high point of the day. Theias would often dream about his fathers stories, especially one in particular. He had always known his tales were just make-believe, but he had his doubts about one. This one was about a bow embued with the power of the arctic, Able to freeze one dead with a single arrow. This story intreuged Theias, and everytime his Father would tell this story, he would tremble with fear.When his father took long pauses, during dramatic parts, he knew something was wrong. Theias not only assumed that his tale was true, but he knew when his father spoke of one call "Alaron", he was really imagining himself.... his past.

Many years went by, and Theias grew older. He knew more than just about anyone when it came to battle and weaponry, but he was especially interested in archery. He had been apprenticing with well known ranger, and had been taking lessons from the king's royal archers. Theias eventually grew to love archery more than anything else in life, possibly more than life itself.

Times were dark though, many people spoke of armegedon and prophecies, babbling on about how The Dark Lord Carnoth's legion would arise from The burning center of the earth and overun all of man kind. Because of such nonsense and rumors, many began to flee settlements, heading to the forests, to live in seclusion, to live a life of theivery and become no more than forest bandits. So with all of the townspeople moving out his father's buisness was lacking and his family was low spirited.

So cataclismically, the actions made by mankind, indeed gave Lord Carnnoth the perfect opportunity to emerge from the underworld and have free riegn over all humanity..... and so he did. Theias , knowing he must try to save his people, did not join the royal army, but set off on a journey, to find the frozen bow his father spoke of in his Tales.
