As I sit crossed legged, on my floor, alone in my room, wondering and day dreaming, at this amazing gift, we call life, motionless, tranquil, happy, at peace with myself and my world, its your voice I hear in the stillness of my heart and my mind.

Your words have touched me like no one else has, and have inspired me to strip away the scales that have blinded my eyes. You have given me the reassurance and the courage, to finally be me.

You have allowed me to see the world, through your eyes, this I thank you for, from the bottom of my heart. I have now found the answers that bring my heart peace, your words have given me the key, and I have unlocked my heart and mind with it. I am finally free, I will spread my wings and soar, thank you.

Each and every person who has touched my life for more than a brief passing in the night has inspired me in some way. It may not always have been positive, but we take inspiration where we can get it these days. :) As a child it was other children who struggled with ilnness, and sometimes even death, with such bravery that I felt as if they were little angels. As a teen it was authors, poets, bards/musicians, actors, fictional creatures and characters that found their way into my heart for their confidence, expressiveness and ability to overcome. These still hold a place dear to me and I read and listen to music as often as humanly possible. In my early teens I met several people who called themselves witches, warlocks, romany, vampires of various descriptions, or shamans. Some of them were friends, some family, all had something to say. They taught me the basics of runecraft, crystal healing, candle magic, tarot reading, the seasonal rites and rituals, blessings and curses, redes and charms. Up until that point I had not realised my interest in the occult, but looking back, the books I read, the friends I made, it all makes sense now. In my mid teens - that difficult period when one is not a child and not quite an adult - I met a man who challenged my perspectives on everything. He gave me the confidence to walk away from organised religion and allowed me to find a path of my own. Thank you, you know who you are.
