Intro: A win was a win, that’s all that mattered. Although it didn’t come quite the way that Viktor had planned, it was good enough to get the job done. None the less, he would have to work three times as hard with his next match, seeing he would be in the ring with not two other people, but five this time. And that would be no easy feat. None the less, he did look forward to his matches. He had a bit of a fear on his tongue, but he took it with full force power. This week would be a test, a hell of a test, and he wasn’t going to let anyone take his first title away from him, not even god himself.

[Action.] The scene opens up inside of a gym, the same one that we had seen that belonged to Silver last time. Cade was standing inside of the ring, holding up a bag that was receiving multiple blows from Viktor. It was around mid day, and it seemed as though this had been going on for quite some time. In the corner, in a blur, he could see Jason, leaning up against a turnbuckle with his arms folded over his chest. [End Action.]

[Jason: ] “That was pathetic Viktor, just pathetic. You had the win, but instead, you let it go. Not to mention, you almost lost your head spinning across the ground, we can’t have that happening now, can we? You might need that at some point.”

[Action.] Viktor smirked and only kept grunting as he sent the fists harder and harder into the mat, his fists moving almost so quickly, that they could not be seen. His focus was more acute than it had been in a long time. This match was a complete mistake, but it he would be one that he cold learn from. He had underestimated Denzum, and he did pay the price. None the less, the same mistake would not be made twice. He knew what Tyler offered, that wasn’t the problem, but what would the other four want? [End Action.] [Jason: ] “You did underestimate him, you had that right. But you need to come up with something else, another game plan big man. Denzum has size advantage on you, and not to mention that other impotent fool, Bad. They both are bigger men, and they can crush you. Will you let it happen? More and most likely, yes. You were always a weak one Viktor. You always let people step on you to get what they want. I really don’t think you’re going to stop now.”

[Viktor Briggs: ] [muttering under his breath] “I will win. I was underestimated myself, unless you forgot that as well. Everyone thinks I’m just going to be another stepping stone to their success, but that assumption is wrong. I wasn’t pinned, I didn’t lose that match, but none the less, I didn’t pin the man I was seeking. I took a lot of pain that night, much more than many men would normally take, but yet I’m not afraid. This will be the biggest night of my life, so far. Facing Denzum and Layne alone was a good challenge, one that I barely was able to conquer, but that was only a small dose of my abilities. I don’t mind to bleed, I don’t care to bleed all over everyone inside of the ring. The bottom line is, I don’t mind to do what I have to, to take this victory. Everyone wants my head, as many times as they can get it, but they can’t get what they’re not able to take. Denzum, as I have said many times, is a brainless muscle bound jerk, who has been on the roids a little too much. Underestimation? Not quite, a few glances could tell you this much.”

[Action.] Cade just kept holding the bag, hearing Viktor’s voice, but not exact words, he already had a notion that he was crazy. None the less, he would only shrug and continue to hold the bag for him. The punches that he was feeling kept getting harder and harder, enough to make his grip falter slightly. Viktor kept increasing the speed, sending his knuckles harder and harder this time, almost making Cade feel as though the bag were able to break in half. With this rate, for the time he had been punching it, the bag couldn’t take too much more. [End Action.]

[Viktor Briggs: ] “I’m going to step up this time, and raise my game to a whole new level. I have many opponents that are sharing this opportunity with me, wanting it as much as I do if not more, and I cannot and will not let them have it. I will work harder, twice as hard, four times as hard to take this win. I can’t lose, and I just won’t let myself go down that path. I am the one that is supposed to be champion, and that is my destiny, and I cannot let that pass. This match is mine, it has my name written all over it. Although my name is the last one on the tongues of all of my opponents, I like the elements of surprise. No one expects me to do anything. Everyone watching on the outside, in, is expecting the big men to dominate the match, or maybe even the masked villain, Revan. He does seem to be a formidable opponent, and he shares the same size as I. He is one of the few men, and I have watched from a safe distance, and admired his work. He doesn’t need a size advantage to make himself look better, he would rather resort to the shadows, fire and brimstone and watch his opponents burn. I do admire you though, Revan, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to let you beat me so easily. For you see, although you claim to be the monster, you are nothing but the beauty compared to me. I will show you what true darkness is like, let you experience it from my point of view. And once you get a real taste of power and darkness, you won’t want to run around with the mask on your face any longer.”

[Action.] Viktor smirks and keeps sending his fists harder and harder into the mat, taking time to focus on that. All his mind could focus on, was the racing of his fists, his breathing, and living in the moment. He knew this was going to be a true test, take every bit of energy that he had inside himself, and then some to step up and take this challenge head on. But still, he spoke with courage, he was afraid, that was a human trait, but he wanted to be able to pull what he needed out of himself, earn it, and take the championship. For once one was obtained, only greatness could them come further. He would fight for his life, and that is what it would take and then some, something that Viktor had not obtained yet. He hoped it would be something that he could obtain from the help of Silver, discipline. [End Action.]

[Viktor Briggs: ] “And who else does that leave me? Mike Icon. A man that I do not know any more than I know the female that will be in this match, Tygress. I’ve seen a little from the female, enough to know that she IS the real deal, that she doesn’t like to play around, she doesn’t play games. She will be another serious competitor that I have to keep close, she doesn’t take her matches lightly from what I have seen. But once more, I don’t cower away from this, but I look forward to seeing what I have to deal with. I’ve seen the type of concerns that she bears with other matches, but I would like to see how she is going to take mine, ours, to see how she is going to take this situation, for I am taking it with my full attention. This means everything to me right now. Mike Icon, once again, I don’t know who he is. I’m sure he’s been around long enough to have a few matches and maybe even win at those, but I’ve never stopped to pay enough attention to him to pick up too much of a threat, but still, one cannot underestimate one that they do not know. Icon may be my biggest challenge in this match, but yet, at the same time, he might even turn up to be the weakest link, this no one knows, so I’m not going to play around with that, it’s not nice to play with the food on your plate. Icon will be taken seriously, as will the female. Just because she is a women, does not make her weak, but she is also at an underdog statement much as myself, because she just appears weaker. But if you want to know the honest truth, I believe this match will come down to the two of us, maybe Revan or Tyler will step up to make some sort of a difference, maybe even the newcomer Bad might even do something about it, but I won’t allow that to happen either. Bad is as much of a mystery to me as Icon, if not more, and he bears the size of a man that could destroy me. Does that strike fear into my soul? No, it does not. I won’t let a man scare me just because he’s almost a foot taller than I am, size means nothing. He will have to prove his weight around here, much like I have had to do myself, although I have yet to have to show my full worth. This match will be the one in which I let everyone know my name, give everyone a reason why to fear me. I’m not the biggest, nor am I the strongest, but this is my destiny to win, it is what is supposed to happen, and no one can stop that. I have waited too long, kept my name in the shadows for way too long, and that will not happen anymore. I am tired of waiting, being the third wheel, I will be the man that sends the POW into a new era, not the beloved champion Joel Artimes or the want to be goodness Collisto, I will be the man, I will be the one that rules on a throne. The time may be far from the balance, but it is to be mine. It is all destiny, and no can have that. Not now, not ever.”

[Action.] Viktor slams his fist harder into the bag this time, hard enough to almost knock it out of Cade’s hand. He was no small man, but Viktor was, and could still barely handle the hits the man was dishing out. Viktor withdrew his form away from the bag, before sending one last punch into the gut of the bag. [End Action.]

[Cade Silver: ] “One last punch for the road.”

[Action.] Viktor smirks and turns his back to the bag, lowering his head and closing his eyes, but still, he can feel the pride, for it is now poisoning his veins, feeling the power surge through him and he immediately wants the match to happen now, right here. But he still had a week to prepare, the time would come, but it didn’t feel as though it would fall soon enough. [End Action.]

[Viktor Briggs: ] “The time will come soon enough, Viktor, and you will finally give the world something to smile about, or frown, depending on what they think of you. But it doesn’t matter what everyone else thinks, does it? Denzum, Tygress, Revan, Icon, Bad. It doesn’t matter what none of them think of you, remember that Viktor. You are a man of your word, and you will keep your word to them now. The challenge is coming to you, but before it comes to you, you must go to it, take it head on and prove why this is destiny, show everyone, show the world why you will be the next world champion. Words are nothing without actions to back them up, and that is what we will provide. Time to shine, baby.”

[Action.] Viktor turns around, taking his left arm back, not too far, and slams it into the dead middle of the bag, not taking Cade my surprise. He stood there holding the bag, waiting for the moment to strike, knowing he would, but the bag ripped down the middle, and leaked all of it’s core. Before Cade could look up, Viktor’s frame had already left the ring and was walking out. Seven hours of training deserved a bit of a break. [End Action.]
