Intro:
Only a few more days left, now, the clock was ticking and the moments were drawing more near. It would only be a short time, until Viktor would be letting Denzum and Layne meet their maker. Words didn’t mean much, but actions would do a lot more. Viktor had been doing a lot of talking, but still, he had a lot of backing up to do. He did not fear the fight he had to put in, but he did fear what people would think of him, as much as he didn’t care. None the less, today would be the final time that he showed his face before his match against the two men. Today, would also be an eventful day that he met another friend of his. It was no Jason, nor was it even a man that he ever knew. And, was it a figment of his imagination? None the less, it would be a change and he would meet someone else, someone to speak up and let him know something else, that Jason could not, nor himself. Today was going to be the day, that Viktor met a man that called himself, Cade Silver. “The Future.”
[Action.] The scene opens up, inside of a warehouse. The lights are very dim, as there is only one in the center of the entire platform. It swung from side to side on a chain, casting shadows all along of whatever it hit. In he corner, a man was bent over, shoving some articles of clothing into a duffle bag. A knock is heard, as Viktor stands quickly, looking over to the door with an awkward look. He wasn’t expecting anyone, so it was odd for him to see someone around these parts. [End Action.]
[Viktor Briggs: ] “Come in.”
[Action.] The door swung open, and a bag was tossed in with a dull thud, causing the weak wood to almost fall apart. A man with blonde hair walks through the door. The man was highly muscular, and stood around six feet and four inches, with a mountain of muscles, he looked terribly cocky. He wore a pair of baggy black pants with a white stripe down the side, and a white shirt that bore an eye along the front, that said, “The Future.” And on the back, said, Cade Silver. This would be the new break through that Viktor would be meeting, a man that knew all the answers. He would be, a final breaking point for Viktor, a brother figure in which he would be stepping into. [End Action.]
[Cade Silver: ] “This is the place that you’re living in? Pathetic. Athletes these days live in mansions, and own their own gyms. And where are you? You’re living in THIS shit heap. Do you have nothing better? Surely to god you have enough money to get something else?”
[Action.] Viktor wasn’t quite sure of what to say to this man, or how the hell that he even knew where to come, or who he was. Cade came over to Viktor, grabbed his duffle bag that he had been packing previously, and tossed it to the side effortless, it causing less of a thud that his own. Cade picks up the duffle bag he brought, and tossed it into his arms. [End Action.]
[Cade Silver: ] “The name is Cade Silver. I was sent to you, by some officials up at the head office of the POW. I was told you had no manager, and that you had no one to watch your ass. Seeing as the nice guy that I am, I’m a veteran at professional wrestling and armature wrestling in high school, college, and in various federations. I’ve not been so good at what I do because of luck, but because I know what I’m doing. I have a home, a great home, and I have room for another. You’ll be joining me there until you get to your feet, because I believe that you have a serious matter to be getting into. I took time out of my own career to come and be your coach, so I expect you to give me all that you are. I expect a lot of things from you, and I expect you to fill in the word that I was given, and if you fall, I’ll show you what I can do. Is that a deal?”
[Action.] Viktor never asked for this man, he didn’t even like people to top it off. But what was he to do, with a man this size? If what he spoke was true, there would be know way he would take this heavy weight without some sort of fight. None the less, nice people were hard to come by these days, so he figured he would do with what he was given. He began to get his boots on and gather everything together, in order to leave. Cade stopped to look at him, to give a finally explanation of what was to be done. [End Action.]
[Cade Silver: ] “I’m not doing this for my own good, Briggs, as I am sure that I have made this point clear. Sometimes you may want to leave my home, and other times you might look at me as your best friend, but this is for you. You came up with a rough background, rougher than some that I’ve came around, but I have seen some of your house shows, some of the things that you have done before, and I have respect for you, kid, I think you have something special. But none the less, you will give me your word, that you will be the man that I expect you to. And if you don’t, you should have amounted enough money by then to find your own place. You know I’m not your father or your mommy, I’m just here to watch you for the time being. Almost look at me, as a teacher or even a baby sitter. But I take shit from no one, and you note this now.”
[Action.] Viktor only nodded. He didn’t like Cade already, but none the less, he did respect the fact that he was taking time out of his own will, to come out and help Viktor. They went outside, and was met by a limo. Cade, without a word, grabbed the bag and tossed it into the trunk. There was not a driver, and as Viktor was almost to question this, Cade tossed open the driver’s door and sat down. Viktor proceeded to enter, but when looking towards the front, he noticed the black window was up, seeing that Cade would not hear him, nor vice versa. Hard to tell how hard the drive was, he was by himself. He sat there in silence as the car took off, but his thought patterns were interrupted by another voice, one he had been hearing less and less through the week. [End Action.]
[Jason: ] “Now, you’re up to getting inside vehicles of strange men that you don’t know? You’ve really came a long way, dumbass, I never knew that you would sink this low to beat a couple of low lives, I mean shit. You’re a good man, Viktor, I always knew that you were a little slow, but I respected what you had. What kind of evidence do you have that you can even trust him with your life?”
[Action.] The vehicle kept going, as Viktor kept setting there. It had been around ten minutes since he had said anything, actually. He looked over to Jason and slowly shook his head. [End Action.]
[Viktor Briggs: ] “I have a trust for him, Jason. I don’t trust many people in my life, I even have a hard time trusting myself at times, but I really do believe him, he seems like a nice guy. Even if he is an asshole, he’s going to let me live with him, in his big house and let me use his facilities. Even if he turns out to be some weird nutjob, I still even could use him and move on. It’ll give me a good amount of time to improve upon my weaknesses and focus on my strengths. The man does not lie, I have heard that name before, I’m just not quite sure where. But I do expect great things, I am doing this for my career. I have nothing here at home, there is nothing here for me now. I only care about my career, and I will do anything to have that spotlight shown upon me.”
[Action.] But Jason only smirks and shook his head. He leant over, and rested his forehead in his hands, laughing out aloud. [End Action.]
[Jason: ] “But still, Viktor, still, you’re going to let some guy that you’ve only seen on TV, winning championships upon championships, and expect him to show you the way or something? You think just because he was great, and people knew his name, that you’re going to rise up and be a star? He was right about your potential, Jason, even Layne or Denzum would have to end up admitting that, but that doesn’t mean he will be the one to make you shine. Weren’t you ever taught, that strength was found inside? That no one can truly show you who you are, until you even know who you are? Sure the guy is great and all, but I think you would be better off alone, letting things come along that way.”
[Viktor Briggs: ] “No, you’re wrong. I have very low respect for myself, Jason, there isn’t much in this world that is for me. I need someone in my life, that’s going to respect me for who I am, and give me the things I need. The facilities that I need to use to make myself better, the things that I need to become the star that I know I can. I have nothing back there, nothing at damn all, and you expect me to go back, and wonder how the hell I’m even going to pay for a ticket so that I can get paid? He’s going to show me the way, show me the lead of the path, only if I have the will to take it and find what I deserve, do you not understand that? He is going to give me the tools that I need, the wood and fuel for the fire, as long as I have the will power to use them, that is what his plan is, and I am not going to let his offer go in vein. I will take it, and I will take it happily and let him say anything that he wants to say to me, and you know why? Because I care, I care about my career and I want to see it succeed. I want people to know my name and men to fear who I am, and I will see it happen. Cade has been in that light, and he knows what kind of stress it takes to get there. I need someone, someone that has been there to let me know what it’s like, so I’m not alone. I need a warmth that only someone else can give me, not some fucking part of my own imagination that reminds me of how truly insane that I am, you…incompetent fool!”
[Action.] Viktor lowers his head, and shakes it as he can hear the continuous words of the man next to him. He felt like a nap. Yes a nap would be a thing after all. Sleep did find Jason well…**2 HOURS LATER** ….Viktor was awaken, not by his crazy other persona, but by a knock on the door. His eye lids fall open, as he is pegged in the chest with the large duffle bag, and Cade is now standing by the door, his face showing no signs of emotion what so ever. [End Action.]
[Cade Silver: ] “Get your shit, kid, we’re going inside. We don’t have time to waste. Go ahead and lag back here, and put on what I left for you inside of the bag. It’s nothing special, but it will be good enough until you get the feel of things. Then follow me inside, we’re going to the gym.”
[Action.] Viktor only nodded and got dressed as he was told inside of the car, leaving his other clothes inside of the bag. He was left with a black muscle shirt that looked a little dirty, and a pair of jogging pants that looked much like the ones that Cade had been wearing. He glanced down to see a little insignia along the leg, in neon great that read, “XWF”. He shrugged at the name, slung the duffle bag over his shoulder, and followed where Cade had been, seeing as he stood outside. Silver motioned for him to go inside as he done easily, now standing inside of a very large gym, one easily larger than his entire place, easily. There were three rings, one each bearing a different sign. Cade took him to the one, that read “Illuminati” in the center and they entered it. Cade tossed Viktor’s duffle bag to the side, and raised a couple of pads and placed them on his hands. Slapping them together hard, he raised them up for Viktor. [End Action.]
[Cade Silver: ] “We are starting, now, your time is slim and we need to get you ready and good and sore and full of fear. In a few nights, you’ll be experiencing a feeling that you have never felt before. You’ll almost feel as though you have a load of shit in your pants, and a hard on all at the same time. But you will be ready, I’ll not leave you until you are, even if we have to stay up all night, but you will hit me hard, hard until my hands are numb, do you hear me? And then we’ll move on to something else.”
[Action.] Viktor nodded and began to punch the bags, as the scene then faded one more time..**4 HOURS LATER**.. A duffle bag is tossed into a room, and lands onto a bed. Cade points to Viktor the bed on which it had landed, and then slams the door with a bit of force. Viktor looks to the bed, and shrugs. He had not slept on an actual mattress in years. He sat on the edge of the bed, as the camera pans around and looks straight to Viktor, his skin covered in sweat and the body odor strong enough to knock a horse out. [End Action.]
[Viktor Briggs: ] “I, in my entire life, have never felt so enlightened. I just spent, almost a full day inside a gym, working my ass off. I never have felt so sore, or even so damp with sweat in my entire life? But do you know what? I find this feeling well, I find it feeling normal, something that I could look forward to accepting every day of my life, I like it, I find it very soothing to the nerves. Cade had underestimated, when I sent the punches into the pads, they made his hands numb from only a couple of shots, I could tell by the look on his face. But already, I have a respect for him. He came to me, when I needed someone the most, and that I do respect. But none the less, I will not win this match for him, nor will I win it for anyone else. This, like I have said countless times before, is my time to shine. I will make the world jealous and at the same time, I will scare them. What you are looking at, is the world’s next athlete. I did not need Mr. Silver to show me what I could be, I already had this image burned inside of my brain, but I am ready. I have a new found fire inside of me, and I can take on anything right now, anything that the world wants to throw at me. I see that Tyler has already opened his mouth for another two hours, running his mouth off about nothing of any kind of importance, speaking of me as though I was something of his play thing, like he is something great. Well, I do have news for him, and this alone is not only for Denzum, but for Layne if he is watching, right now. All the time I have been speaking of the pain, the inbound pain that you two will be receiving, will no longer be less than talk. For only in a few more days, I will meet you head on and we WILL collide, for the time is now. I have the taste of blood on my own tongue, now, and I know what I’ll have to do to push my body to it’s limits. Today was only the beginning, tonight is only a brief workout, I have already been promised that I have so much more to look forward to, and I can tell by the belts and the championships on his walls, that he will not do me wrong. He is giving me the weapons that I need for success, and I will use them. Never will I shun the name of Cade Silver nor turn him down for a thing. Out of the kindness of his heart, he is showing me the way. He said he was given a tape by one of the POW executives that showed me in a match, some low house show of a federation that I once occupied that meant nothing. Little did I know that they actually did keep some sort of record on those things, but none the less, he did agree to take me, he said he saw something in me. He came out of a brief retirement to show me what I needed to do, but he did promise me that he wouldn’t be here forever, just long enough to show me what I needed to do, the kind of power that I needed to employ upon you all, and I will not turn that down, I will not let his respect for me be meaningless. I will be the star that I know I can be, not for him, but for myself. So Denzum, Layne, this is only but a final warning. I am ready to bring my best game, I am ready to show you what hell is like, welcome you to my own private layer and let you enjoy the party that I have set up for us, it will be like none other that you have EVER experienced in your entire life. You be ready for me, Tyler, you will be the first one that I come against, I now have a personal score that I need to settle against you. You have already written a check, that you do not have the money in the bank for. I have your number, know that your time is up. I’m waiting for you.”
[Action.] Viktor gives a sinister grin as. . . [End Action.]
