Powers forward Robert Youngblood is another new addition to the London Towers roster for the 2001-02 season.
The 32-year-old is a familiar face to BBL fans having spent five seasons in the british game. He made his name with cross-town rivals, London Leopards, where, as captain, he led
them to back-to-back league titles in 1997 and 1998. Youngblood averaged over 17 points per game durign his time in the BBL.
The 201cm (6'7") Alabama-native also represented the south in the All-Star Game on five occasions before moving to Germany in 1999 after receiving a British passport. He spent last season
with Herzogtel Trier and helped them to the German National Cup.
Prior to his spells in Britain and Germany, the Southern University graduate has played in America's CBA, Portugal, as well as, Venezuela where he won the Venezuelan Championship in 1993-94.
