London Towers' new big man, Phil Hickey, joins the squad following a stint in the Finnish League.

The Albanian-American 24-year-old played his college ball at Notre Dame University. Upon graduation he was drafted by the New Hampshire Thunder loons in the 1999 USBL Draft. He signed his first professional contract with the Cincinnati Stuff (IBL) for the 1999-00 season. in 2000-01, Phil moved overseas and joined PuHu Pussihukat Vantaa in Finland.

Averaging 14.5 rebounds and 18.5 points per game with PuHu, the 211cm (6'11") centre was snapped up by Towers to provide valuable height and a "big body" under the glass this season.
