Kinder London Towers won the BBL Southern Conference tonight, with a twelve point victory over their London rivals, the Leopards. Leopards got the first basket, but it was Towers with a 9 - 2 tear who got on top with an eight point lead. However, the Leopards fought back with an 8 -2 run, briefly giving them a one point advantage. Towers came back again and at the end of the first quarter, it was Towers by 2.
Leopards were soon back in the lead in the second quarter but a massive 17 - 2 tear by the Towers took them to a seven point lead. At the end of the half, it was Towers by 9.
Leopards made a strong start to the third quarter with an 11 - 2 tear taking them to within five points. However, Towers made 9 unanswered points to take a fourteen point lead. At the end of the third quarter, it was Towers by 13.
Terrell Myers scored another three pointer and then picked up his fourth foul with 6.15 left to play. Robert Youngblood picked up his fourth foul with 3.21 left, but soon after, thanks to a Ronnie Baker 3 pointer, Towers had a twenty point lead. Terrell Myers fouled out with 38 points with just 26 seconds to play. Towers winning by 12.
