Kinder LondonTowers slipped 12th straight defeat in the Euroleague on Thursday night losing at home to the Greek side Peristeri 87-75. Peristeri had edged in front by the half way point of the first quarter and were leading by 4 at the first time out. A big 3 from Brett Eppehimer followed by a score from Stuart Robbins helped to keep the Towers in touch, ending the quarter just 1 point down.
Peristeri started the second quarter with a 6 point run but Towers came back to get within 1 point. Peristeri got away again but four 3's in the quarter from Terrell Myers kept the Towers in the game, finishing the quarter down by 6. Stuart Robbins picking up his fourth foul with 1.43 left .
Phil Hickey picked up his fourth foul early in the third quarter and Peristeri got away to a 11 point lead by the half way point. Ted Allen picked up his fourth in the last 2 minutes but Towers were closing again, finishing the quarter just 6 points behind.
Phil Hickey fouled out early in the fourth and Peristeri were once again up by 11. The gap stretched to 15 before Towers closed again, behind by 7 with 4.49 left. Robert Youngblood picked up his fourth foul then fouled out with 2.44 left. Wojcik fouled out with 56 seconds left. Terrell Myers topped scored once again for the towers with 24 points.
