Kinder London Towers were hopeful of pulling off their first win in the Euroleague tonight after their strong run of wins in the BBL, but despite a valiant effort, it was not to be. Towers got the first points, but the Skyliners soon got in front. Towers went ahead just before half way through the quarter and had a 1 point lead at the first time out with 2.58 to play. At the end of the quarter, we had a level ball game. Frankfurt once again edged into the lead at the start of the second quarter, getting ahead by 6 in the first half of the quarter. Towers pulled level, but the Skyliners led by 5 at the time out with 1.51 left. At the end of the half, Towers were down by 9. The second half started with a dunk from Lokhmanchuk, but Towers were not giving up getting back to within 4 points. John White picked up his fourth foul with 5.24 left and Towers were down by 8. Coach David Lindstrom got called for a technical near the end of the quarter, with Towers down by 18. Jeff Kent picked up his fourth foul with 6.30 left and Towers down by 19. Phil Hickey was next to pick up four fouls followed by Frankfurt's Robert Maras. Towers bravely rallied, but lost by 17 points.
