Kinder London Towers fresh from their close encounter of the Leopards kind, took out the Bullets tonight at Crystal Palace with a blinding fourth quarter. Jeff Kent got the Towers off to a good start with a 3, but the Bullets soon took the advantage leading by 11 when Coach Lindstrom called time out with 5.42 on the clock. The quarter ended with the Towers down by 7.
Towers gradually began to pull back at the start of the second quarter, getting to within 3 points at the first time out. Terrell Myers then levelled the game with a 3. However, 3 consecutive and strongly contested fouls called on Robert Youngblood, helped the Bullets pull away again. The quarter ended with the Bullets up by 5.
Towers started the second half with an 8-3 tear then a three pointer from Terrell Myers took Towers into the lead. Brett Eppehimer picked up his fourth foul with 3.56 left and the Towers down by 3. When Lance Randall called time out with 2.01 left, Towers were up by 2. Emiko Etete picked up his fourth foul with just 8 seconds left, the quarter ending with the Towers up by 2.
Two three pointers from the Bullet's Paternostro and Johnson put the Bullets back in front at the start of the final quarter, but some long three point shots from Terrell Myers put the Towers back in front. Brett Eppehimer fouled out with 6.18 left to play and the Towers up by 7. Phil Hickey picked up his fourth foul half way through the quarter and Brant Bailey his a few seconds later. More strong shooting from the Towers soon had them leading by 17 points. Phil Hickey fouled out with 1.53 left. Towers winning by 14. Terrell Myers led the scoring with a game high 32.
