Westfield Sharks Sheffield moved to within two points of the Chester Jets at the top of the BBL Championship Northern Conference after a hard fought 125-116 overtime victory over the Kinder London Towers. The Towers looked to have sealed the win when former Sharks Terrell Myers hit a three pointer inside the final minute to leave his side 103-99 ahead. The Sharks hit back with a basket from Todd Cauthorn and then with just seconds remaining Justin Phoenix calmly slotted two free throws to force the extra period. Once in the extra period it was all Sharks as the Towers struggled with foul trouble.
