Kinder London Towers finished their Euroleague campaign with a defeat in Lithuania, as Zalgiris Kaunas defeated them 90-72 on Thursday evening. Towers began brightly with eight of the opening ten points of the game, but Zalgiris hit back to finish the first quarter leading 28-19. Both sides enjoyed 8-0 tears in the second quarter, but the Lithuanians then managed a 28-6 run that spanned the end of the second quarter and beginning of the third to lead 64-35. Towers managed just 11 third quarter points to trail by 29 points at 75-46 heading into the fourth quarter. Although they finished strongly with the final 11 points of the game. But, it was too little too late. Terrell Myers led Towers scoring with 22 points; Grygorij Hiznjak added 21 for Zalgiris.
