Brighton Bears closed the gap to six points in the Southern Conference of the BBL Championship with a 85-73 victory over the Conference leaders Kinder London Towers. A close game throughout with the Towers staying ahead by seven points throughout the second and third quarters. However, Brighton stormed back in the final period, with a 15-5 and 9-0 tears, with Roger Farrington scoring 12 points, took the score out to 79-70, and ultimately picked up the victory. Brett Eppehimer led all scorers with a 27 point haul for the Towers, while Sterling Davis scored 21 for the Bears.
