The Boys Are Back In Town...
The boys are back in town
and all the girls are looking around
trying to find their short skirts
and their nice tight shirts
They're looking for some fun tonight
and maybe for a boy to hang onto with their might
They're hoping for a spring fling
wishing and hoping for the real thing
Knowing it might not last
but hoping for that little chance
that love might come knocking on the door to their heart
and promising to always hold them close and never to part
The girls knew their hopes were high
but they didn't care because they always knew boys lie
But to have their arms around them
was nice to have if even on a whim
So the girls went down to the little town
and saw the boys as they looked them up and down
The girls knew love wasn't in the stars
but knew infatuation wasn't that far
They smiled and batted their eyes
as they listened to the boys spread their lies
The girls didn't care how boastful the boys were
but the girls were having the time of their lives that's for sure
Mary went off with Bobby
and Sally went off with Johnny
Two girls not caring what rumors were spread around
all they knew was that the boys were back in town
