It's over

you had said you'd never
be gone too long
I need you now
you said you'll forget me
and that I'll muddle through somehow
no matter where I'll be
I always had the strength you lacked
That I never needed your love
That I would never look back
but look forward and above
Our love was a toy
That it was never there
That you're just a boy
Are you lying to get out of here
How can u walk away
When my arms are open
I'm begging you to stay
and I can feel my heart being broken
I can't believe this
how can you leave me
with a basket full of promises
I should just walk away with my sanity
I know it'll take a long time
to forget about you and grow young again
I need to find another rhyme
and get a better man
Because my heart can't stand this break
and I can't bear this loss
But this pain is something I must take
and prepare for my heart's winter frost
