The Cure...

I look out my window
As the cold wind blows
I see the shadows of the night
and know that something's not quite right

You're gone, you've pulled away
You left me alone and claimed you wish you could stay
You've broken my heart and you can't understand
how fast it fell as you pulled back your hand

Love Song plays as I stare into space
Trying to remember the words you said and the expression
of your face
Pictures of you can never make you real
The cold air comforts the way that I feel

I need the courage to wake up and come out of these dreams
Living this life alone is never easy as it may seem
I'm still missing your touch
and missing the warmth of you so much

The Cure for love is to remember the good and not amplify the bad
No matter how hard this hurts and how it makes me sad
It's never enough, love is the only cure
It's the only thing in life-that I'm sure
