I'm going down in flames
and I know exactly who's to blame
it's the one I put my faith in
The one who promised to be there through thick or thin
He was the one who fed me the lines
He was the one who built such perfect designs
He thought life was ours to take
He told me life was to be lived and never faked
Always live it to the fullest
and forget about all the bullshit
Never wait for anyone
and don't stop to see the setting sun
He was the one who said live fast and die hard
He was the one who said
forget about those who were there from the start
He told me life was too short and you need to move fast
He told me our love would always last
I was the one who didn't open my eyes
and never saw him as the type who lies
I never thought his love for me would ever speed by me
I watched as I stopped at the shore and he continued on the sea
He was my one true love, how could I be so blind?
To live so vicariously through his mind
I saw what he saw and did what he did
Now I am left alone with nothing left to give
