Rivers, Vines and Love...
We do not know what the future holds
Only that it holds us in the palm of it's hands
We are born to create and be someone on our own
But things never happen the way that they're planned
Lives twist and turn like a vine
with flowers bursting open
Hearts pound and thud deep inside
My love for you is forever flowin'
Like a river through a mountain
being where it shouldn't and going against nature
Throwing a coin in a fountain
love is never safe and love can never be sure
Although my heart pounds at the mention of you
it quickens its pace
at the thoughts of things we'll be thru
and the thought of your sweet face
My heart yearns to know what you look like in the moonlight
It aches for you to brush that hair out of my eye
and my lips throb to be kissed in the morning light
While my ears burn at the thought of a lie
Yet I long to feel your arms around me
I don't know how long I have to wait
but I know how romantic it will be
When we finally seal our fate
