You are the rhythm in my soul
The beat to my heart
Please teach me the dance I do not know
But don't let me fall apart
Because if I fall
I know I'll break
I'll lose it all
Just one more mistake
My heart doesn't know love
It's never seen it's face
It's never basked in the sun above
It's never been embraced
I need to know
I need to hear
I need to grow
I need to face fears
I long for you
Deep in the night
For this loneliness to be through
For you to make it right
No longer will these tears fall
And make a river down my face
I will know and taste love
And not just loneliness' bitter taste
