Begging and Pleading...
You begged her not to go
Pleading just don’t leave
You don’t care to know
In what she believes
Her heart wants love
Pure and true
Someone sent from above
That mustn’t be you
Her love wouldn’t hurt so
She wouldn’t cry
Her heart wouldn’t scream no
And you wouldn’t lie
Her love shouldn’t die
With a touch from you
Her heart shouldn’t sigh
Of you blaming her for what you do
She’s walking out
And not coming back
You don’t know what love’s about
And what you lack
Her heart shouldn’t be
Weighed down by you
You need to finally see
That the love you once had is through.
