The Roces Graal 2003. This is the second incarnation of the Graal by Roces and to be honest not a lot has changed though the Graal is not a bad skate. Just like the 5th Element and Khuti, it is an extremely tough and durable skate mainly because it is made of very few parts. The mid-soul is one big chunk with a grooved BS plate rather than a seperate piece. My favourite feature is the aluminium memory buckle so you get the same fit that is comfortable to you every time- no need for counting the teeth each time you put these on. The older Graal had a zip cover instead of laces which may have caused less ability to manouvre whereas with the laces you can adjust the width of the trainer style lace top.
With regards to comfort, Roces' famous Biomex system assure a comfortable and easy fit. The liner in all Roces skates are thick and well padded with a built in shock absorbing foot bed. It also features an elastic carrying handle on the back of the cuff for easy carrying and it hides away when not in use.
If you're not too fussed about customising your skates and you want something that will last then the Graal is a very suitable skate.
