| Lee Valley Bird Report | ||||
| The LVRP bird report for 2004 is almost finished, This will be the first full report for a number of years and should be on sale at the LVRP Bird Fair in febury 2005. Aswell as taking many sightings of the LVRP website, i also had use of the ELBF data base and a very detailed set of records from rye meads observed by Paul Roper.A massive thanks must be said to these three sources. Future Reports & Records Hopefully this is the first of many reports and should be seen as a steeping stone to improve on them. If this is the case i would appricite if any birdwatchers visiting the Lea Valley could send me in there records [email protected] . We try to take as many records as possible on face value. But certian birds may require a discription as we can not publish sightings which may have been miss id. All records i recieve will be forwarded to the country recorders and the same goes for discriptions of rare and unusaul spicies. Aswell as birds we are also keen to obtian as much information as possible about all aspects of nature in the park as possible this includes flowers, animals, dragonflys and butterflys. Pictures I am also keen on getting photographs sent to me for use in the future reports. Any digital format will be accpeted as i can resize myself. All images will be credited to the photographer. Thanks Chris & Pete Langsdon December 2005 Home Page |
