This story is sort of an experiment for me. After learning that James Hetfield was a Nick Cave fan, and that his first Bad Seeds album was Murder Ballads, I decided I should write a fic based around the album itself.
Each chapter is titled after the tracks on the album, and there is a correlation between the mood of the chapter and the mood of the song. However, there is no actual murder in the story - thank God - just plenty of denial and a bit of sex. Enjoy!
