Within a city as old and varied as London, one should expect that bits and pieces of that history still linger. People tend to cling to remnants of their past; favorite mementos and places. Some hold on to these things so tightly, even in death, they can not let them go. People, places, things, and even certain times of year can become fetters that help bind a soul from the darkness of the oblivion. They are the ties that bind us to this world, but not the meaning we dredge from our existence. Often times, people die just when they are least expecting it. Behind them, they leave loved ones, careers, and so many things gone undone. For some, these unfinished deeds are just too powerful a pull to leave behind and a wraith is born. Welcome to the Necropolis of London; the land that the restless dead has claimed.
