Type: Unity
Sept Leader: Without-Face - Rank 5 Shadow Lord Philodox.
Rank:5 (Caern)
Assembly Area: White Lodge
is the assembly area for the Caern, with the Shadow Lords and those hire up
in the sept sitting on the edge of the mountain with those less important
on the floor. Large stones are used for
seating, and the larger the seat the more important the person is on it.
Caern's Heart: The Caern heart is in the Middle of the Pen
Pond and takes up most of the area around it. If a garou is to fully submerge
himself into the water he will slip through into the Umbra.
Living Area: If the Garou sidestep into the umbra well at
the heart of the Caern they will notice a cave where the Pen Ponds happen
to be. If the Garou will venture down the cave and then at the bottom reapear
in the real world they will find out the is a small cave system under the
park; large enough to house forty or more Garou.
Burial Area: Is in the large pond area, they place the dead
on small rafts they build and then set fire to it. The raft and body goes
under the water in a matter of minutes and is taken into the Spirit world.
Allies to the Caern: The Sept of the Green (New York), The Sept of Tri-Spiral (Ireland), The Sept of the Blood Fist (Germany), The Sept of Wheel of Ptah (Casablanca).
Supporting the Sept:
Human Kinfolk: The Human Kinfolk work in and around the area
of the park. Either as wardens or running it and this helps the garou keep
easy control of the area and any incidents.
Lupus Kinfok: At the current moment the are no lupus kinfolk
inside of the Caern, due to Wolves being hunted and destroyed in England.
Protecting the Caern:
Detection: The Corax fly over the area to watch out for any
suspect activity near the Caern.
Concealment: The Rite of the Shrouded Glen has hidden the
Caern from the view of the spirits.
Barriers: Two small rivers go through the park and because
of this some areas can only be reached by bridge. Several large woodlands
also help split the area up and create easier defence.
Guards: Corax, Kinfolk, and Garou make up the majority of
the guards. But the are other shifters allied with the Caern not far from
its boundaries.
Spirit Protectors: Raven and Crows to watch over the area
well in the Umbra
Caern Totem: Fog. Just like London at the turn of the last
Century the Totem Fog is a forced to be reckoned with in the Caern. When ever
the Caern comes under attack a large amount of fog quickly rolls over the
hills depending on
the current weather conditions. In calm weather the fog causes +1 difficulty
to the enemy and in stormy weather +2 difficulty. Only the enemies suffer
this problem.
