- There are 22 keys on the saxophone, there are octive keys, flat keys, sharp keys, and many more kinds of keys

- The most recoginzable parts are the mouthpiece, neck, keys, pads, and the bell

- There are four kinds of saxophones, they are the Baritone saxophone, the Alto saxophone, the Tenor saxophone, and the Soprano saxophone

- The Soprano saxophone is the only saxophone that is straight

- The Baritone saxophone is the biggest sax

- The Soprano saxophone has the highest pitch and the Baritone saxophone the lowest

- The saxophone plays by you blowing into it which vibrates the reed, the vibrations go through the saxophone, getting out of the holes not closed, by not closing the holes (keys) the vibrating air passes by the keys closed, then out the bell, or mouth

- Only plays one note at a time

- It was invented by a man named Adolpe Sax in 1840

- Has been around for 162 years

- There are 88 total keys on the regular grande piano

- 52 of the keys are white

- The 36 keys that are left are black keys, used for sharps and flats

- The notes are played by you hitting a key that makes a hammer hit a string that makes sound

- There are lots of different types of pianos, some are the church organ, the regular piano, and the keyboard, these are only a few of the many kinds

- The piano can play many notes at the same time, like a chord

There are 3 pedals on the bottom of the piano which you hit with your feet

- The pedals don't make sound, one slurs the note and makes it louder, one softens the notes, and one slurs and softens the notes

- In 1709 Bartolomeo di Francesco Christofori invented the first piano, it was not like the ones today but less advanced
