Delight and I attended a charity beach ride with our friends Diana and Folly on Saturday, March 29, 2008. The ride was for the Southern Delaware Therapeutic & Recreation Horseback Riding organization and was their 11th annual Ride and Walk. We had never gone to the beach before. However, this trip did make Delight an official "Coast to Coast" horse since she used to live on an island on Washington state, or so I'm told. We probably rode for 10 miles round trip on the beach. Delight would not allow the water from the waves to touch her. She was amazing though! She never stopped. Not even when Folly needed a break for a few minutes. She really had that Morgan Spirit.
