Case Study 6

Color: Chestnut with Flaxen mane and tail.
Markings: Wide Star, Strip, Snip. Underlip.

I'm sorely tempted to call this marking a Blaze. Unfortunately, the Strip gets a little too skinny to fit the definition of Blaze. I called this pony Chestnut because I'm not aware of "Sorrel" being recoginized as a color by the Chincoteague Pony Association. If you did say "Sorrel", count yourself right anyway.

Chincoteague Pony. Photo taken by Marilyn on Chincoteague Island, VA. A great vacation spot, but coat yourself with bug repellent when you go onto Assateague island or you will be eaten alive by mosquitoes and horse flies. :^)
