Color: Bay. Markings: Star, Strip, Snip. Spotted Blanket. This horse is obviously an appaloosa. If his coat pattern didn't give it away, then his striped left front hoof should have. This horse also has white scleras and mottled skin which make him appy through and through. Smokey is "roaning out" which is a common occurance among appys. He also has a left hind sock which is not easily discernable in the photo, but if you saw it, give yourself an extra two points. |
| Appaloosa Gelding named Hill Fire Love. He is lovingly called "Smokey" by is adoring owner, Trudy. This photo taken by Marilyn at the BYU Schooling show. Smokey and Trudy had done very well in that show. You also must notice that Smokey has his ears pricked forward. |
