Unsuccessful once again

Every time Nirma banks on a movie and puts her heart and soul into it - through her ultra-sexy dances and other things, disappointment is guaranteed. But, now finally she may be able to break that jinx and become one of the hottest babies around, not just in Lollywood but also on tube where she can be seen adoring every show with her dances and gorgeous costumes.

She really is making a name for herself. At this particular Eid show, too, she was seen dancing her heart out to different Punjabi songs and making the crow go wild. Does it really have something to do with her fame or is just one of her survival stints. Only time will tell!

Nadia - Too big for her boots

Nadia Jamil is one of those ladies who have got huge applause for their histrionic abilities. But that's not all about that gal. Her extra-acting stints are becoming quite the talk of the town, as she is reported to give her directors a tough time and that is one reason why those who take her once never go for her the next time.

Lately, Nadia was in Lahore for the shooting of a private serial, Bulandi, where she literally had the poor director aggrieved by her nakhras. No wonder the director had to cut her scenes to complete his play on time. But, as usual, Nadia wouldn't stop being irresponsible. She was recently giving an interview to a program and there she said that Bulandi was among her worst serials as the team was never supportive and that she should not have signed the play. Now that is one helluva irresponsible comment. It's time she did some rethinking.

Third album with Billo

This is the questions that must be haunting Abrar-ul-Haq as he released his third album, titled Billo beh ja cycle tey, completing his Billo trilogy, on the Eid day. A mole is of the view that Abrar is going through a very low phase because of increasing popularity Ali Haider, Junoon and Junaid Jamshed who are really giving him a very tough time. Hence the demand of Abrar for the concerts has dropped considerably, and he is finding it pretty hard to win himself his (lost?) glory.

Another ouster?

Resham's not been spoken of and seen much, lately, ever since she churned out turkeys over turkeys last year. Poor babe is trying hard enough to put her sagging career back on the right track. She is in her own way trying to tap all of her contacts, besides of course rebuilding a lot of them.

But that is not all about the lady, because she is in her desperation appearing in every second TV show, too. Recently, in an Eid show, she came up to the dais, and after speaking something in praise Madam Noor Jehan left the hall. The buzz, is she was extremely busy that night, but she made sure that she could put up an appearance, in order to establish some of her old contacts, you know.

Reema shines once again

These days, not quite because she has got top banner movies lined up, but because she has been successful in proving herself innocent in that (in) famous (?) program of Zee TV - Antakshari - where she along with Sajjad Ali and Atiqa Odho was reported to have sung Dil Dil Pakistan - jan jan Hindustan.

Well, the program recently went to air, and everybody saw it for themselves that our gulls and guy sang nothing like that. Rumors have it that it's all thanks to a very dear friend of Reema baby who used his clout and, ahem, money, (reportedly a sum of R.40 lacs) to have that part cut from the program. Certainly proves that Reema knows how to keep herself alive and innocent.
