Hino Rei is the second to join Usagi. Although many people would describe her as "mean" or "concited" it isn't true. Sometimes Rei teases Usagi but it dosen't really occur in the manga as much, she is much more mature in the manga. Rei is a great friend and very determined so she would never leave her allies. Since her mother died shortly after she was born and her father is always too busy with work to be with her (as shown in Casablanca Memory) Rei lives with her Grandpa in Hikawa Shrine on Sendai Hill and goes to a diffrent school than Usagi (TA Girls School). Rei is also very spiritual in the manga (more than in the anime) and she also has the chance to meet Sailor Phobo and Deimos (which are also her birds).
