Hammie: Not interested? Okay, well, where is your favorite place to hang out in Lallybroch?
Khelli: I mostly like to lurk at the Social Board. Every once in a while I go visiting the other boards to see what's going on.
Hammie: Do you go to any chats?
Khelli: I have been to a few but I don't seem to have enough hours in a day to go to all that I would like to.
Hammie: Got a tattoo?
Khelli: Yes, it is on my right ankle and dedicated to my kids.
Hammie: How many times have you read Outlander?
Khelli: I have lost count of the rereads I have done. I have also listened to both the abridged and unabridged a few times. There are always new things to discover no matter how many times I read it.
Hammie: Got a favorite bumper sticker?
Khelli: That would have to be.....I am up and dressed what more do you want. I am not a morning person. The only sticker I allow on my Van is a D.A.R.E. bumper sticker.
Hammie: Yeah, I can tell you are a night owl. Maybe we can take a spin on my wheel later.
Hammie: What really pisses you off?
Khelli: Mean people really irritate me, but people who are mean to kids and animals or others who can't defend themselves, really piss me off.
Hammie: I know what you mean.... If you could visit anywhere in the world (besides Scotland), where would you go? Why?
Khelli: I would love to visit Australia & New Zealand. The scenery looks absolutely gorgeous. I love to listen to the accents and the people I have met from there are all so friendly.
Hammie: What keeps you coming back to Lallybroch?
Khelli: The great people, everyone is so wonderful and open. You couldn't find a greater group.
Hammie: Spit or swallow?
Khelli: Most around here spit, but you have a few hardier, or I guess they could be just considerate of others, they swallow.
Hammie: We are talking about mouthwash here, right?
Khelli: I was thinking chewing tobacco.
Hammie: *gigglesnort* Wanna just tell me a little bit about yourself? Oh like where you grew up, what you wanna be when you grow up, how do you bring home the cheese... Stuff like that?
Khelli: I grew up mostly in Wyoming, but have lived a little bit all over. I was born a Navy Brat so roaming must be in my blood. As I get older though that doesn't seem so great anymore. I want to move and settle up near Sheridan, Wy. (the mountains are great there) When or if I ever grow up I want to get back to college to be an Registered Nurse. Until I get to realize that dream I keep myself busy with two jobs. I work in a Gas Station\repair shop in the evenings and during the day I am a one-on-one Resource Aide for a child with Tourette's Syndrome and a sub-aide when needed. I have 3 wonderful though energetic and ornery daughters ages 14, 12, & 9. I have been married to my very own Jamie for 4 years. In my spare time I am a volunteer EMT-B (emergency medical technician, basic level) with our ambulance service and I just joined our local Volunteer Fire Department.
Hammie: Well, Khelli, it's been just grand getting to meet you and chat and all, but I'm going to hit the road. I have another hoser to visit with, and I really want to find my creator. Take care and see you on the boards!
Khelli: It was great talking to you too. You were nothing like I had heard. No offense. Oh by the way, have you seen or heard from Mr. Jingles?
Hammie: Hey thanks! I think?! Jingles is in Las Vegas. See Ya, Khelli. I'll tell him you were asking for him. _________________________________________________________________
