Born in Hong Kong, Jenny has been performing in public frequently since her first piano lesson at the age of five.? In 1997, she was admitted into the Junior School of the Hong Kong Academy for the Performing Arts where she first received formal musical training.

Jenny had won many championships from the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival, both as a soloist and an accompanist. Her performance was boarcasted by RTHK Radio 4. Her outstanding achievements include the Mozart Piano/Violin Concerto Competition 1998, the 10th Hong Kong Open Piano Competition 2000, the Marlow Music Festival (London) and the Bach International Competition (Leipzig) in 2006.

Jenny had received numerous scholarship, including the Chung Hwa Travel Ltd. Scholatship, the Daniel Tse music Scholarship, the Chiap Hwa Cheng's Scholarship. Jenny graduated with a first class honour from the Hong Kong Baptist University. She was awarded the Scholarstic Award and the Outstanding Student Award. On a scholarship, Jenny obtained the Master of Music Degree in Piano Performance at the Royal Academy of Music, London. She was also elected by the Directors a Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music as a piano teacher. Jenny is currently holding a visiting studentship at the Hong Kong Academy for the Performing Arts.
