SUBJECT: Houston Subdivision Amendments

Gulf Division General Order No. 8 is cancelled and reissued.

* Explanation: This is to delete speed restrictions..Item 1(B)
* at MP 102.0 to MP 105.7

The following are changes to the Gulf Division Timetable No. 5
in effect 0001 Sunday, June 8, 2003.

Station Table:
Add CP 1051 between Dobbin and Karen.  Add 105.2 to Milepost
column, J to Rule 4.3 column, and 8.4 to Miles to Next Station column.
At Dobbin change 8.8 to 0.4 in the Miles to Next Station column.
Change Length of Siding (Feet) from 5,369 to 8,900 at Casey.

Item 1(B) - Permanent Restrictions
Delete the following speed restriction:
102.0 to MP 105.7........30 MPH

Item 1(C). Speed - Switches and Turnouts
Add CP 1051 Turnout................................. 30 MPH.

Item 3. Type of Operation
Add CTC - in effect:
MP 105.2 (CP 1051 Houston Subdivision) to MP 49.2 (CP 492 Conroe
Subdivision)

Item 7. Special Conditions
Add Automatic Switches, Location by Station - Includes both switches
unless specified:
Casey


Signal changes effective 0800, Tuesday, June 24, 2003:

Northbound Controlled Signal MP 105.2 placed in service.
Southbound Controlled Signals for main and connection at MP 105.3
placed in service.
Signal 1036 MP 103.6 will become a double unit signal.

Signal changes effective 0800, Tuesday, July 1, 2003:

Southbound signal at MP 73.5 will become a double unit
signal at MP 73.5.

Signal 71.5 & 71.6, and Signal 70.2 & 70.3 will both retire.

The existing siding at N. Casey will become the switching lead
and the existing main track will become the siding.  The main track
will be the existing Casey Yard track #1.

The new North End of Casey siding switch will be an Automatic
Switch at MP 71.4.  At North Casey the southbound cantilever signal will
be at MP 71.4 and the northbound siding and mainline cantilever signals
will be at MP 71.3.

Switch # 1 at MP 70.2 will be removed.  At MP 70.5 the siding
and the main will be rerouted back to the old siding and main.

The existing switch at South Casey MP 69.7 will retire and a new
Automatic Switch will be installed at MP 69.6 (South Casey).  The
signal at MP 69.6 will be a double unit signal (entering signal).
The southbound signals for South Casey will be at MP 69.7, and the
southbound leaving signal out of the siding will be a left hand signal.
