VALHALLA
halls of Valhalla Valhalla, or the "Hall of The Slain". This is the place where Odin resides preparing his legions of hero's for the coming of Ragnarok. It's rafters are crafted from giant spears and its roof from shields. Having 540 doors each capable of allowing 800 warriors to pass through it shoulder to shoulder. Making it the grandest keep found in Asgard.

If you listen you may hear the battle cries of these fallen hero's as they do battle in preparation for the coming of Ragnarok. But again we delay, hurry along we are almost there.

Here in the hall known as Valaskjalf is Hlidskjalf (Odin's throne). It is from this throne that he observes all that happens in his realms and has learned of you. The tidings brought to him by Huginn and Muninn (two giant ravens which serve as his eyes).

If you look off in the corner you will see his spear Gungir, which never misses its mark when thrown. The braying you hear in the distance would be his eight footed steed Sleipnir, the fastest that ever existed.

It appears as though Odin has grown weary with waiting for us and has left to attend to other business. Our tardiness has cost us much. Now we must find our way back to Midgard ourselves.
