One cold morning I was laying in my bed putting of getting up because I knew I would have to get ready for school. When I finally got up and got ready for school, it was eight o'clock. I leave every morning at eight thirty to catch the bus to my school. I get to my school at eight forty five and sit with my friends Rogue and Tabby. I wish I could sit with Lance but he does not even know who I am. I only wish he did he is sooo cute.
"I have to leave" I say to myself as run down the stairs and grab my book bag. "Bye, mom, bye dad love you" I yell running out the door to my bus stop.
I get there just as the bus comes down the street. I get on the bus and see Lance sitting at the back of the bus talking to his friends. If only I could go sit with him, but that's just another one of my silly wishes. So I sit down at the front in an empty seat.
The next stop Scott gets on and sits with me. "Hi Kitty" he says sitting down close to me.
"Oh, hi Scott" I say, rolling my eyes. As you can probably tell I hate Scott but I am so lucky cause he just happens to like me. He must've asked me out like 50 times.
"So what are you doing this weekend" Scott asks.
"Ummmmm" I say the quickest thing I can think of so I don't have to spend time with him, "I am going to spend the weekend at tabby's."
"Oh that's too bad I wanted you to come to the science fair with me" he says pouting.
"Sorry" I say like I mean it as the bus comes to a stop. I get off and walk over to where Tabby's standing. "Hi" I say.
"Hi how's it going" she asks me.
"Good, umm do you think I can spend the weekend with you?" I ask, trying not to sound rude.
"Sure. Let me guess; Scott needs someone to watch him fix his computer" she says, laughing.
"Close; there's a science fair" I say.
"Oh that sounds like fun" she says with a grin.
Even though I go to Tabby's house all the time I never see Lance mostly cause we stay in her bedroom she says the others are not normally nice to mutants. Her house is where I first saw Lance. It just so happens he walks around with no shirt a lot. I think Tabby knows I like Lance, but I am not too sure.

After school, Tabby drove me to my house so I could get my stuff then we went to her house. When we got there, everyone was home but they were in their rooms.
"Will you help me make supper tonight Kitty" Tabby asks.
"Sure," I say "For everyone?"
"Yep, tonight we are all eating together cause the guys told me that they like you!" she says, smiling.
"Really, even Lance?" I ask.
"Yep, even Lance" she answers back.
"I did not know he knew I existed" I said with a chuckle.
"Yes, he knows, and he thinks you're beautiful, too!" she says.
"Are you lying?" I ask, blushing.
"Nope" she says, "I heard them talking about you." I was filled with hope and love. "Come on help me make the food" she says. I nod and we start to cook.

When we finished cooking I set the table and Tabby got everyone for supper. We all set down I was beside Pietro and Lance.
"This is very good" Pietro says to me.
Then Lance says "You should cook for us more often."
"Thank you I will try to" I say.

After supper I cleaned up the house while Tabby did the dishes. When I was cleaning, I happened to overhear a conversation that Pietro and Lance were having.
"Its so clear she likes me" Pietro says.
"No I don't believe you" Lance says.
"She was even giving me looks like she wanted me bad" Peitro smirked.
"Shut up" Lance said and he punched the half opened door that I was standing behind.
"Ahhhh" I scream as the door flies into me and I fall backwards. Both Lance and Pietro run to see what happened. I am laying on the floor when they both run from the room.
Lance drops to his knees. "Are you ok, I am so sorry, I can't believe how stupid I am" he says.
I giggle a little "Its ok I am fine" I say as I start to get to my feet. I am almost up when I fall down because I am weak from the fall. Just as I fall Lance catches me and pulls me up close to him.
"You are too weak to walk and it's all my fault" he says taking me to his bedroom.
"I am fine!" I say, just before I pass out.

When I wake up I am in Lance's bed and he is there beside me. "Are you ok" he asks worry in his face.
"I am fine" I say and I kiss him.
"What was that for" he says blushing.
"For taking care of me" I say.
"I do not deserve it I hurt you" he says standing.
I get out of bed and walk to his side. "I love you Lance" I say and we kiss for a long time.
"I love you too, Kitty" he says and holds me close.
