They're talking about pod people, and Tai begins goading Cody about not talking to the girl he's been ogling all week; Rogue. Cody approaches Rogue, and in a very cute stuttering moment asks her to dance. She's about to refuse, but then agrees. She walks in, and Cody and Tai hi-five.

Back at Rogue's place, Irene's freaking out; she had a vision of Rogue touching Cody.

Rogue and Cody are having a good time daincing, when Tai pushes Cody into Rogue in an effort to get the two to kiss. Cody gets up first, offering his hand to Rogue. She takes it and absorbs his memories. She sees a few flashes of Cody's life and is freaking out.

Opening Credits

Cody has fainted and Tai is also freaking out. Rogue starts running towards the exit, but Tai intercepts. Rogue pulls a football move from Cody's memory and executes it on Tai. He's surprised.

Meanwhile, Irene's chatting away on the phone, being very apologetic.

At the X-Mansion, Storm and Wolverine are testing the defenses. Kurt's trying to flirt with Kitty and failing miserably. Then Xavier says that they've got a new mutant sig in Mississipi. There are a few flashes to Roguey running down the streets, upsetting traffic.

The X-Men load into the Blackbird and Kitty starts talking to Jean about boys, namely Scott. Kitty reveals she thinks he's cute, and Jean examines the specimen, adding her own thoughts. Kurt hears all this and, determined to impress Kit, he ports up to the top of the Blackbird and nearly gets himself killed. He ports back in, landing on Kitty who is much less than impressed.

It is revealed that the person Irene was talking to on the phone was Mystique. Mystique says they can't afford to lose Rogue, and Irene says that Rogue will go where she thinks is home. It fades to Rogue, who seems fairly convinced she's Cody and uses the spare key to let herself in to his house.

At the hospital Cody was admitted to, Jean disguises herself as a doctor and links Cody's unconscious mind to Xavier's. However, he can't really pinpoint much except a physical description, considering Cody himself didn't even know her name.

Mystique disguises herself as Wolverine as the car pulls up outside Cody's. Rogue's upstairs, looking at his yearbooks, posters and trophies. She trashes his dresser, then Mystique disguises as Wolvy comes in, basically terrorizing Rogue. Rogue believes that the X-Men are mutant hunters and leaves Cody's for a safer place.

Meanwhile, the REAL Wolverine, along with Kitty and Kurt, are walking around the streets looking for Rogue.

...Who is jumping over fences desperately trying to escape Mystique, who has now morphed into Storm and is hurling thunder at her. Rogue ends up running into Irene, who reassures her, but then sees Wolvy, Kit and Kurt approaching and runs off in terror. Logan's about to pursue, but then Kurt convinces him to let he and Kitty handle it, percieving that Rogue is terrified by Wolverine. He agrees reluctantly, telling Kurt to watch out for the half-pint, meaning Kitty.

Rogue is walking through a park when Kurt, disguised as a human, ports in. They start talking and are really having a heart to heart... until Kitty gets it into her head to attack Rogue from behind, basically ruining any hopes that Rogue would trust Kurt. Rogue touches Kurt, absorbing his power, and ports away.

Rogue ports right into a graveyard, realizing she's absorbed Kurt's powers (and his ability to speak German.) he starts porting around and actually seems to be enjoying herself, but is snapped back to reality when the mausoleum she ports onto is collapsed and she falls through.

There's a semi-Kurtty moment in the park. Not much to elaborate on. Kitty calls out to Xaveir, giving him the 411.

Jean and Rogue start talking in the aprk, and Jean gives her a communicator. Then, Scott and Storm show up, and Rogue freaks out. She runs off again.

Another Kurtty moment.

Rogue gets into another mausoleum and is attacked by Mystique disguised as Scott. She barges out and slams into the real Scott. He accidentally hits some power lines with his optic blast. Mystique, now as Jean, attacks her, but Rogue ports away, right into the real Jean and Storm. Once again, she freaks, and steals Storm's powers, knocking Storm into a huge puddle. Storm is saved from being fried by the thundershower Rogue causes by Scott. rogue ports away, right before the rest of the team and a conscious Kurt appear. Anotehr Kurtty moment, and the Fuzzy Elf nickname is borne.

There's a quick scene with Tai and Cody talking in Cody's hospital room. About football. -_-

Raven weclomes Rogue to Bayville High. After she leaves, she starts talking to Magneto about Rogue being a good addition to the team. Rogue's still eyeing that communicator, though...

My Rating: 6/10

What I liked:
I got a real kick out of Tai and Cody in general. They were a nice touch, as was retaining the character of Cody himself (in the comics and movie, Rogue's powers also emerged when she was kissing/doing other coupleish things with a guy named Cody)
Even though I don't like it, the Kurtty moments WERE very cute.
So many funny one-liners!
Rogue reacted really believably to it all and her powers were so cool
They managed to totally avoid giving Rogue's name. Skillful
Rogue, Cody and Tai all had kewl accents! I know Rogue is meant to, but I'm glad they rememebred the others.

What I Disliked:
Kitty was really really stupid. I can't stress how stupid.
When Cerebro picked up on Rogue, wouldn't it have also read her name, like it does with Kitty?
Why didn't Mystique call in the BH? It's obvious by how Rogue reacted to Kurt that if she was approached by someone her own age reasoning with her, then she'd go along willingly. Lance did a good job last ep with his speech to Kitty, so instead of scaring the hell out of Rogue, why not call in a.( Lance and/or Todd or b.( Even better, Irene?
How did Mystique and Irene know where Cody's house was? Did Irene get Cody's full name and address when she had the flash of the dance?

Quotes:

Tai: "Body snatchers! That's the only explanation, man," he and Cody see Rogue. "My good buddy Cody is now a pod person. Gone in an evening from bad to sad, flame to lame! Nurse, he's coded! Personality paddles, stat!"
Cody: "Oh, come on. I'm just, y'know, picking my moment. Taking it slow."
Tai: "Cody, I've seen glaciers move faster. There she is, the girl you've been staring at all week. Please tell me you at least know her name?" Cody shrugs. "You lame-o! This ends now, come on!"

"Dance! I mean, would you like to? With me, that is. Together, uh..." Cody

Logan: "The vents were pretty easily breached. Gonna need to fix that. Maybe electrify 'em or install posion gas sprayers."
Ororo: "Wolverine..."
Logan: "Alright, alright. Knock out gas then."

Brr... is it just me, or is anyone else, like, seriously freaked by all this?" She pauses. The others just stare at her. "Oh, right. It's just me? Great." Kitty

"Next time I'll honk before I port!" Kurt

"Say something, Kurt, please. Tease me, scare me, anything.Oh, please... don't be dead. Come on, Kitty, okay... what would Wolverine do, besides dice up, like, half the landscape?" Kitty

"Easy, you fuzzy elf!" Kitty

"Whatever this was, try to shake it off quick, ok? The game against Jackson is next week, and the last thing we need is Stevens taking your position!" Tai, being sympathetic towards Cody's injuries
