Defining Dreams.
>epilogue<

Leon relaxed, his eyes closing with a contented glimmer.  The Count was resting softly between his knees, his back against his breast and his dark hair falling across the blondes shoulder.

Ds hand rose and wound into Leons hair, gave a gentle tug until he was forced to bend his lips to the Counts demand.  Leon sighed, his breath pushing into Ds mouth.  His blue eyes blinked open, though heavily.

D?

Yes, Leon?  The voice that came from the elegant black-haired man was warm and seductive---it curled around Leons ears and awakened his desire yet again.  He swallowed, determined to ask the questions that had entered his mind as soon as he was able to think clearly.  Was he really thinking clearly?

Would you have really killed Alissa if we had switched bodies?  He was in fear that such an inquiry would fill that warmth in Ds voice with ice water, but the Count laughed softly, took up Leons arms and wrapped them around his waist.

I do not make threats, Keiji-san.  Only promises.  I would have loathed destroying such a beautiful body, he ran his nails up Leons arms lightly, But I would do it.  I then would have captured you in your new guise and kept you with me, here.  He paused.  Would you have liked to be one of my pets, Detective?

Leon shuddered at that thought, then paused.  If he was now being honest to himself, then it was time he accept what the nature of the truth was.  He was one of Count Ds creatures.  *His pet*

You would have sold me to the first person that walked in!  Leon roared with laughter.  Ds quiet chuckle wound around his in complementary tones.

Of course not.  I would have held you in my lap everyday as I did earlier.  Count Ds slight smile grew into a smirk.  It would have been a far more suitable punishment for breaking your word.
