                                     ABSTRACT



A mathematical model and simulation package has been developed from the 
known principles of physics and chemistry, for Radial Flow type Ammonia 
Converter.The converter is the third generation converter of the Radial 
Flow type.The objective of the development of the model and simulation 
package is essentially to determine the operating parameters at which the 
production rate from the converter could be maximized subject to 
operational constraints.
