Valerie of Willendorf is the daughter and only child to her father, King Frederick.  A truly inspirational man, it was he who held the heads of his people up high during the dark times that Humanity fell upon of late.

Ever a warrior king, Frederick often led his men from the front and few were his equals: however, upon returning home from one successful sortie against a force of raiding Turelim, his bodyguard were ambushed by a large band of Melchahim.  Of this band only one soldier survived, bearing back the Scepter of Power and the crown – he was unable to retrieve Frederick’s body.

Overcome by grief, the people of Willendorf began to once again despair.  Frederick had left no named heir behind, and bore no son who could take up the throne.  Only Valerie was the rightful heir to a throne that had never seen a woman seated upon it.  Though young, she learned quickly about the art of politics and of war – or rather how to conduct one.  Eventually, through plenty of arm twisting and other, unknown methods, she managed to gain the full support of the nobility of Willendorf and their loyalty.

Though she has yet to be crowned, already has she begun the duties of a Monarch: she has stepped up the training of the Army of Hope, sent diplomatic overtures to the other city states and even has the secret backing of the Seraphan Order.  Time will tell however if the stubborn rulers of the other city states will swear fealty to her, thus granting Humanity the sole leader it desperately needs.

Valerie is a beautiful, cunning and kind ruler, but possessed of a powerful vengeance should one wish to harm her or her people.  Though diminutive in stature, all look up to her, and in her eyes these people see a woman with the will to lead Humanity to victory and bring a new era of peace to Nosgoth, something no man has ever seemed to possess.
