The Seraphan Lord
Leader of the Seraphan Order
“To assist and guide, to aid Humans all across Nosgoth and to defend those of our kind unable to defend themselves; these are the ways of the Seraphan. May we never falter in our duty and service to Humanity.”
Player Status: Open
For over a decade, the Seraphan Lord has led the Order of the Seraphan against the Vampire menace plaguing Nosgoth, and is the first to hold such a title since the corrupt first Seraphan Lord four centuries ago. Armed with the Nexus Blade and a golden suit of armour, he is instantly recognized on the field of battle and rightly feared.
His true name unknown, the Seraphan Lord is much like the Order he leads with the aid of the Ruling Council – secretive and mysterious. It is rumored he is the scion of a noble house that once ruled lands now conquered by the Vampires. Other rumours suggest that he was born to humble origins in Avernus, which would explain his religious piety. Whatever the truth, only he and a select few from the Seraphan Order know the origins of this brave man.
What is known is that he quickly proved himself to be a great warrior and inspiration to the people, something that earned him promotion after promotion during his years of service to the Seraphan, and ultimately became the Lord of the Seraphan – thus no longer going by his own name – when the Council deemed it worthy for a new Lord to be appointed. He quickly showed his worthiness and value in such a role when he took command of the Northern campaign, halting the advance of the Vampires dead in their tracks and then forcing them to fall back time and again at the head of a large army of State troops, Seraphan warbands and Vampire Hunters.
The Seraphan Lord is a silent man who rarely speaks – when he does it is to give either counsel or orders to his subordinates. He is however a true example of what a Seraphan Knight should be – courageous, dutiful, and caring of all Humans still loyal to the Human cause. However, he is possessed of great vengeance when his people are betrayed, and shows these traitors absolutely no mercy.
