 High Priest of Avernus

Long has the city state of Avernus, considered most pious of the city states, been ruled by the Church of Avernus, and the clergy hold great power over the region.  With the death of High Priest Feradal so recently, Lisrahan, a religious fanatic to say the least, was appointed High Preist by a majority vote of the clergy.  Though his reing has only lasted for three years, already he has shown signs of progress.  Under his leadership Avernus have forged stronger ties to the equally pious Seraphan, and have even done the unthinkable - they drove the Vampire Clans of Melchiah and Rahab back from the valley, their army knowing nothing but victory of late.  Lisrahan has shown his intelligence by allowing the Seraphan Lord to lead his armies.  In person, Lisrahan is a quiet, soft-spoken man, kind hearted and noble, and always seeking to aid those less fortunate.  However, he is apparently as yet undecided on swearing fealty to Valerie of Willendorf, stalling for quite some time now.
