Don't worry about updating. That's the Staff's job. If we don't update within 10 days. Contact one of us and we'll see what we can do.

Story reigns over all. No story. No RPG. Can't have one without the other.

Post at least 1 time a week. We're not asking for much here we don't think. At least let us know you're still alive and want to join in the action.

When you die, you return to Miridian with half the money you had. Call this "The Death Tax". Some events can cause you to lose more.

Starting a Character


In order to join, go to the join page and post the requested information (listed on the join page) on the join board.

Each new character starts off with 100 G, basic stats for your race and affilliation, 1 dark gift or spell.



Affilliations


There are a few affilliations in this RPG.
1. Vampire, Ruling class, simple enough, a vampire loyal to Kain.
2. Vampire, Sarafan Lapdog, Vampire who doesn't like Kain. Serves the Sarafan.
3. Sarafan Priest, Basic enough, can use most spells fluently
4. Sarafan Warrior, The fighting class of the Sarafan, usually the ones to go out and fight the vampires or guard bases.
5. Kabal, Human, serves Kain in hopes of becoming a Vampire.


Terms


Level (Lvl)- Simplity put, you're current fighting level. This is the basis to your other stats. Level will go up when you reach a certain amount of exp. When you gain a new Lvl you gain stats. These stats are determined by your Race, Level, and affilliation. We should get a levels chart up soon enough
Speed(Spd)- How fast you can move. Determines how many attacks you can perform per turn and who goes first in a battle
Hit Points (Hp)- Hp is (possiblity) the most important stat to maintain. Hp is a character's/ monster's health. When your Hp goes down to 0, you die. 1 Dmg = -1 Hp
Damage (Dp)- Damage is the amount of Hp taken away after getting hit. 1 Dp = - 1 Hp
Experience (Exp)- Exp determines level. There will soon be a chart up to tell you how much exp to gain a level.


Battle


All battles will be fought on the battle forum.
Battles will either be given out by the Staff or approved by the Staff.
Battles with NPC's may be requested. NPCs are controled by Staff.
All battles approved by the Staff must be fought, unless reasons are explained. In the event someone doesn't fight nor explains why not, he/she will lose and die keeping all the condictions of death.
Death will be annouced by a staff member
The order of fighting will be annouced as the first post of a fight and will be given by a Staff member. This will be based on Spd.
If someone leveled in after the battle based on victory (or defeat), it will be awarded after fight's end.
The next turn must be made within a day of the last turn. (e.g. if Player 2 follows Player 1 and Player 1 made his turn yesterday, Player 2 must make his by today)
Include a short story describe what is going on in the battle during your turn. This is just to make the fight more interesting.
