Anya was born and raised by a normal family, in a normal town, somewhere in Middle America. She was an average girl that got average grades and did very little that was remarkable, that is until her fifteenth year. Her house caught fire and quickly trapped herself and her family. Everyone except her burned to death in the fire. Even the collapse of the house itself didn�t harm her. In shock, Anya ran out of the rumble, and in all the confusion, nobody noticed. She lived the next ten years of her life in the city of Chicago. Without much of an education, no skills, and no identity, Anya had little choice but to resort to crime. Still, her powers allowed her to do something very few other criminals in history have been able to do, maintain a certain moral standard. Anya only stole from criminals, and criminals had plenty for her to live off of. Still it left a bad taste in her mouth, and somehow she suspected her dead parents would disapprove. Anya wanted something more. |
