I am positive we have a friendly ghost in our upstairs and our son's who slept there have witnessed strange feelings of someone standing over their bed . Our grand daughter, Kristen, who slept upstairs when she lived with us and still does not know about this story, came down stairs one early morning saying she thought someone touched her leg as if to awaken her. She said when she opened her eyes no one was there. She came down stairs still puzzled about what she thought had happened upstairs.
I did not tell her anything about the strange previous happenings the boys had experienced while sleeping up there.
I am sure it would have frightened her.
Another time several of us were upstairs and our little dog went up with us. She was OK at first and acted as though everything was OK. A short time later her hair bristled up and she was staring into a corner where there was nothing that we could see. She started barking furiously, while backing up like what a dog does when it sees a stranger.
I do wonder if she saw the the spirit of the old man who died here in this house in the early 1900's .
The house has been completely remodeled twice and the upstairs used to be an attic when he lived here.
I often see things out of the corner of my eye like some people say and it does not even bother me anymore. The room that our dog saw some thing in was also the room that belonged to our son who was killed in 1972.
Could it have been Danny that she saw ?
I am a true believer of the after life.
